Self esteem is everything. Here are some videos I found by Dove- Campaign for Real Beauty. The videos pack a big message in a short period of time, so I would love for you to watch all of them.

this first message is called "evolution"

this one is called "onslaught"

lastly, this one is called "amy"

So, while I know we all read and love those glossy magazines (at least I do), dont forget that a lot of the stuff is aribrushed and touched up to perfection. Let's not forget your natural beauty.

a bed worth sleeping in

This bed certainly wins my vote.

This egg shaped bed is called the Lomme (light over matter mind evolution), "offers an enviroment that enhances all senses". Apperently this bed has light and sound therapy as well as a muscle relaxing system.
And an iPod dock.
I would definatly go for this bed.

( this room? with the bed? YES PLEASE! )

the mythical worlds

My mind is full of worlds I create.
And yours?

Wouldn't you love to live in a house like that? Its gorgeous and is just inviting my mind to create a story around it.

Perhaps its because I enjoy reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, or maybe because I just like dreaming up worlds of my own.

So many storylines for books run through my head and worlds that I imagine fall in place around my heroine. I've never really started writing a story, I just work on them in my head and store them there and come back to them when I feel like it. One day, though, perhaps I'll commit a story to paper. I plan too.

Be nice.

Because everyone on this earth is fighting their own battle.
Because everyone on this earth matters to someone else.

there really is no reason to hurt.

as you leave, I cant help but watch you go

farewell summer...

.

...our time together was splendorously spent with fun-filled late nights and well worn blissful days...

...its hard to see you go, but your time's up...

...because im ready for the leaves to start swirling, and the fire to start crackling...

...I'm ready for fall.

you have always wanted to know what would happen if this occured

Amy Krouse hung exactly 100 George Washingtons on this tree to create the well known phrase the "money tree"

I'm trying to guess what I would have done. Hmmm, if I was by myself, probably stop if I had time and laugh a little, then go over and look at the dollar to see how it was attatched to the tree, then once I saw the note , stop to read all (well, not all) the messages on the dollars. After that, I'd probably pick one or two nice, ripe dollars off the tree for myself!

Oh man, another week without blogging. I promise, once my fall schedule settles in (all my dance classes begin this week and my Youth Sypmhony Orchestra had the first rehearsal this morning) and we get our house back in order (we're getting a new bambaoo floor in our house and are re-doing our bathroom so our house has been in disarray for a month or two) my blogging will become more regular.
PROMISE!!!

witness

This is a graphic print poster I recently bought. Its done by Nikki McClure and there are so many more prints she does that I love, all with a single word, and than an image that illustrates it.
What drew me to this one, is that it draws the viewer into the picture because its you witnessing it. We witness many of things in life like this so I find that this poster speaks for a lot of those instances.
I also like how its a little grittier - the cat with a bird it killed in its mouth.

realize that I  haven't posted for a week. Goodness. I've been busy with the start of school, and honestly, sometimes I just dont feel like going on blogger or going on the computer. Actaully, I haven't been on the computer for a week! That's an accomplishment for me. So for future reference,  just know that if I haven't posted for a while, I didn't abbandon my blog, I'm just on a little break  :D

to fall in love with the world

"If you spend your time falling in love with places, your heart will not be so easily broken"

--quote by me, brilliant idea from Rajat

He commented   "ohhh I have been falling in love with people I should fall in love with places.. so it will take long for my heart to break."  on my post look up and let your mind go. And I loved that idea so much.

It's very true no? Unless war happens and demolishes the place you love, or a natural or man made disaster occurs, you'll always have that special place to fall back on. It will be there for the rest of your life.

Well then I must be having a love affair with Hong Kong.

I went to China for two weeks this summer and we spent one glorious day in Hong Kong. I highly reccomend you click here  if you missed my post on the city. It has lots of pictures that solidify Hong Kong being known for its skyline. Here's a taste --

these relax me.

I think the lighting in these photographs really make these photographs.

I love how in the first one, the back of the girl is dark while the umbrella is illuminated.

In the second one, how you feel like you're up above the world in a fantasy land because of all the clouds in the backround.

In the third one, the sun streaming through and the colors on the left side.

In the fourth one, mmm, I love how her hair catches the light, and the dark and light clouds in the backround.

i cant think of a title because "awards" sounds boring

So I've been given the versatile blogger  award by Jen from Sprinkled Dreams and the Happy 101 award by Sammi from Sammi Suits!!!

Thank you gals so much !!!

I guess I'm supposed to tag other bloggers with these awards but I'm thinking that for my 100th post, I'll make my own award and give them out. Kay?
So here are the random tidbits about me I've been tagged to share.

My favorite flavors of ice cream are coffee, cherry vanilla, and mint chip.

I love little kids and am really good with them.

I have a very low tolerance for horror movies (as in it doesn't take much to FREAK ME OUT, all those supernatural, 'ghosts' and pshyco killers - forget it), but LOVE thrillers (cannot wait to see The Town --killer cast, haha no pun intended, Ben, John, Rebbecca and Blake, love you all -- Inception, and Salt)

I'm a very organized person who loves to plan and make lists.

If I could have any mythical creature, I'd want a phoenix. They are quite regal creatures. In China, they symbolize a powerful woman, I'd love to ride through the sky on one and they're based slightly off of the looks of peacocks which are gorgeous birds.

I dont like touching money. What can I say? Its full of germs and makes your hands smell bad!

And lastly, I love my little blog and want to send out a ginormous thanks to all who regularly read & comment on my blog. Seeing I've got a new reader and reading all your comments never fails to send a jolt of happiness through me :D

can't i just stay in bed all morning?

happy tuesday morning.

If I had a bed like this, I don't think you could pull me out of it for the world.
