Alexander McQueen's masterpieces at the Met

As a salute to the late Alexander McQueen, the Metropolitan Museum in New York is having an exhibition dedicated to McQueen's fashion masterpieces titled Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. One hundred of his works were photograhed on live models by  Sølve Sundsbø and then digitaly altered to look like mannequins. The clothes that will be displayed are taken from his postgraduate collection in 1992 all the way through February 2010, his last runway presentation. This stunning exhibition will begin on May 4.

wow... i've never seen clothes like that. i especially like the first one, like it's a fairy wearing vines and flowers around her for a dress in a magical forest.. i dunno, that's just my take on it :D
